November 1^st- David and Jennifer – Diocese of Austin “It gave me new perspective on certain topics.”

Him: This marriage prep was refreshing and informative in many ways giving new perspective in all topics related to marriage and to the church.

Her: Really enjoy the referenced scriptures and videos, and feedback from instructors. It was also nice to be able to complete this at our own pace.

Both: We appreciated the feedback from instructors and seeing their perspective.

November 2^nd - Frank and Allison – Diocese of San Francisco “This course went far beyond what I expected from a marriage preparation class.”

Him: I was extremely pleased with the course. We covered a lot more than I expected the course to cover. All the topics were very relevant to what is going on today and all topics brought up were ones I consider important to my relationship and what constitutes a strong foundation for a lifelong relationship.

Her: Thiscourse was extremely helpful in bringing us together to answer and discuss topics that will be relevant throughout our marriage. Many of the topics that we covered in the course were things we really hadn't discussed in detail. I think this course made us both reevaluate how important our faith is, and how we can start to prepare better for marriage and eventually raising a family. I was so impressed with the level of detail that our instructors provided when giving our answers and showing support for our journey into marriage. I feel very fortunate to have had such dedicated teachers for this course.

Both: Our instructors were amazing. They really went above and beyond with their responses to our assignments. Genuinely very generous and genuine people that clearly have a passion and love for this class and helping couples to have healthy lifelong lasting relationships. Very grateful for them.

November 3^rd - Andrew and Gabrielle – Archdiocese of New York “This course reminded of how beautiful life is”

Him: It helped me see things in a different light. I thought I understood what to expect from getting married but this course helped me realize how much more the sacrament of marriage actually means.

Her: It helped me refresh my knowledge of my faith and just love my spouse even more. It helped highlight the things that made me realize how much I love him.

Both: It helped us express our feelings to one another and to remind each other that speaking things out before they build up is a healthy part of a lifelong healthy relationship.

November 4^th - Patrick and Paige – Archdiocese of New Orleans “This course served as a good push to get back to building my relationship with Christ.”

Him: I really appreciated the ability to perform the lessons on our own schedule. I also appreciated the way the course encouraged us to have some more challenging conversations.

Her: I loved that the course covered so many different topics! It was very helpful to get our conversations flowing.

Both: The lessons on active listening have helped us to think more deeply about each other's moods, thoughts, complaints prior to responding.

November 5^th - Jeffrey and Christine – Archdiocese of New York “This class revived my faith”

Him: I think that this class was beneficial for my future wife and I. I think it helped us to learn more about each other, and also gave us good options for ways to keep our relationship strong.

Her: I feel that this class really helped to break down the importance of marriage from a Catholic perspective more specifically. I enjoyed reading the feedback from our mentors, and seeing their perspective on different aspects of the class.

Both: This class helped us learn how to set aside time for appropriate communication with a goal. We hope to continue to this communication.
