November 22nd– Charles and Caroline – Diocese of Baton Rouge, LA “We had great instructors”
Him: I feel that I learned a great deal more about the Sacrament of Marriage and what it means to truly accept God into our marriage than what I already knew. Through this course, I truly believe that Caroline and I grew closer to one another and God.
Her: We enjoyed this class greatly. It prompted us to talk in detail about things we previously had not. We learned a lot about each other and it prompted us to pray together more often, which is so important.
Both: We've been feeling for a while now the need to get back closer to God. The course prompting and encouraging us to do so further emphasized that feeling and makes us want, even more, to be stronger in our faith.
November 23rd – Francis Andrea – Diocese of Oakland, CA “The classes definitely improved our communication”
Him: I found the class very informative. Our instructors were very responsive in their feedback and answers. All of their explanations were very well thought out and insightful. I enjoyed their enthusiasm and passion in sharing with us their wisdom of married life. Above all, I was able to connect deeper with my faith, and I feel blessed that I was able to embark on this journey with my fiancèe.
Her: Overall, it was a very interesting class. I appreciate how informative our instructors were and how they helped us see marriage and God in a deeper way. You can really see their passion for God through their responses.
Both: We spent hours discussing and debating the various examples of couples with different values and how they would be able to resolve those differences. Through that, we were able to get a better understanding of our own communication styles and how we would approach the unique issues in our lives. We found this exercise very useful for us.

Both: Our instructors were so thorough and generous in their responses! We really felt like they cared and were invested in the process.

It was great to learn about these types of things, and also deepen my faith with my fiancé. This will be a great aid to us for the future as well. We are excited to keep learning together, growing together, and applying what we learn to our marriage and the rest of our lives.
