Nov. 28th – James and Jazzlyn – Archdiocese of Galveston and Houston, TX “It made me see my faith in a different way”
Him: I found the class insightful and full of treasures. I will be taking all these lessons through life and be applying them.
Her: I enjoyed the class because in the middle of planning our wedding, it gave us time to reflect and pray on our marriage life.
Both: We are hoping to attend mass during the week as a way to spend time with each other in prayer.
Nov. 29th – Ryan and Cortney – Archdiocese of Baltimore, MD “I was intellectually and spiritually stimulated to learn the things we did”
Him: We learned a great deal about ourselves and gained a deeper understanding of what marriage means in the church. Through this, we've grown closer and more mature.
Her: Our instructors clearly care about us and gave us good feedback. This was helpful.
Both: It prompted us to more deeply talk through our beliefs and anxieties, and discuss openly some problems we were having.
Nov. 30th – Seberino and Yuliana (Civilly Married) – Diocese of Little Rock, AR “I have been lost on how to get closer to God and learn more about our religion and this has definitely opened a door for me”
Him: I was really impressed with the courses I didn’t expect for it to be as in-depth as it was it really opened my eyes to what a spiritual connection really meant and how important it is.
Her: I was very impressed with the information that these classes provided. It provided a lot of information about God and what marriage is really about. Although we have been together for quite some time now, this information will definitely help us with our marriage.
Both: Although we have been married for some time now, it made us see just how important it is to pray together and have God as our backbone. It has opened a door for our marriage to get closer to God.
Dec. 1st – Nathanael and Gemma – Diocese Steubenville, OH “I appreciated the fact the we were able to complete the course on our own time”
Him: I thought that the course was very thorough and provoked some extremely productive conversations between my fiancé and I. It also was good about explaining the Catholic teachings regarding marriage.
Her: I appreciated our instructors’ openness with us and their thorough answers. I thought the course was engaging and kept me interested to learn more about the sacrament of marriage and how incredible and important it is.
Both: The course helped us to discuss topics that we may not have thought of or else were uncomfortable talking about. It also provided us with useful resources for communicating more effectively.
Dec. 2nd – Paul and Vy – Diocese of Orange, CA “The course gave me more courage to spend more time and effort to be connect with Christ and the church”
Him: Excellent time with this course. I felt that nothing was rushed with the course materials. each session was well prepared and informative to our learning experience (visual and discussion).
Her: I came in this course with a good amount of knowledge for marriage, Catholicism, and even our own relationship. However, through each and every session, I left learning even more. Every presentation, question, video, couple activity, etc. is full of meaningful opportunities for us to explore Catholic marriage.
Both: It was helpful to have the course sit us down and spend a dedicated time for serious and religious discussions.
