Dec. 12th – Osasu and Joy – Diocese of Uyo, Nigeria “Brought me closer to faith relationship with God”
Him: I am very happy to have taken this class, because it opens my heart to having a good marriage.
Her: It was a good and educational course which brought about many questions and challenges which I have suppressed for a while. Both my fiancé and I had great discussions, a few disagreements but an understanding as to the WHY we are going through this. It brought me closer to God and inspired my faith and prayer life. I would recommend that all new couples complete a marriage preparation course to help get to the WHY of coming together.
Both: The course met all our expectations and more. It was very insightful and thought-provoking.
Dec. 13th – Joshua and Samantha – Diocese of Rockville, NY “I appreciated the chance it gave us to have serious discussions”
Him: The questions were provoking and instructive, but more importantly, the comments from our instructors were clarifying and encouraging.
Her: This class really made us think about and have conversations about topics that we hadn't discussed before. We've been together for 9 years but still hadn't really discussed some of these important factors!
Both: It gave us the opportunities to have discussions that we had not set time for previously or which we perhaps were nervous to have without some form of structure or guidance. We have, since starting the course, been less hesitant to do this and feel even more secure in our communication than we did before it.
Dec. 14th – Chris and Christina – Archdiocese of Atlanta, GA “I am more driven to go to mass every Sunday now”
Him: It was a great class, and we enjoyed it very much. It was extremely helpful.
Her: I thought this course was very informative. It allowed us to complete it at our own pace which was nice. Our instructors were fantastic, and I really appreciated their guidance.
Both: We are more open in expressing our feelings, especially when it comes to religion. We pray more together now.
Dec. 15th – Nick and Alisha – Diocese of Santa Rosa, CA “This helped me learn more about the Catholic faith”
Him: It was very informative, and I appreciate all the feedback from our instructors.
Her: I enjoyed all the insight given by our instructors, they were great and made it more personal by sharing little stories about themselves.
Both: We plan on attending mass more often and church sponsored events.
Dec. 16th – Fayad and Nadia – Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, TX “I appreciate the detailed and honest feedback we received from our instructors”
Him: I really liked this class because it opened my eyes in new ways to see what our marriage will be like especially when we make God the center of it. Our instructors gave very helpful and honest feedback as well.
Her: I enjoyed taking this online marriage preparation class because it brought my fiancé and me together and helped us to feel confident about marrying each other and it did a great job of incorporating the Catholic Church’s teachings.
Both: It improved our communication by having a structured activity in which we had to cooperate with each other and make time in our days to coordinate working on this class together. This was helpful to keep us organized and keep our priorities straight.
