Building Christ-centered marriages,
one couple at a time ™
Sep. 16th – Anthony and Ashley – Diocese of Duluth, MN “It really showed us a lot of different healthy ways to communicate and grow in a relationship”
Him: This course really taught us the importance of our faith within our relationship. It showed us the importance of it now, and in our future as our life evolves and our family grows. It also taught us healthy ways to grow and communicate together.
Her: This course helped teach me how to keep faith at the center point of a relationship and into marriage- as the anchor of holding together that relationship. Some of the topics and discussions felt like common sense, and a lot of them were tough and required deeper thinking. I liked that some of the questions did require us to work as a team to come up with answers. It just felt very helpful, and bonding.
Both: Each lesson allowed us to have deep conversations with each other in order to come up with responses we felt we both agreed on. In having these deep conversations, we really had a chance to grow and learn about each other and how to best serve one another.
Sep. 9th – Matthew and Annika – Archdiocese of Dubuque, IA “It has given me goals to go to Church more frequently and to strengthen my relationship with Christ”
Him: I felt like this course did a very good job of hitting the most important points on creating a happy and strong marriage. It allowed for great conversations between Annika and I and it allowed us to cover topics that otherwise we might have been uncomfortable talking about.
Her: I learned a LOT and I could tell the instructors really cared about us and enjoyed working with us!
Both: This course gave us a lot of great tools to increase our communication in our relationship and soon-to-be marriage. This course was a true blessing because we were struggling a little bit in that area of our relationship and now, we feel like we have the ability to communicate more effectively together.

September 2nd – Andrew and Hannah – Diocese of Fresno, CA “I appreciate how this course brought us closer to each other and made us focus on our faith”
Him: Everything that I hoped we would get from this course was met and, in the process, we learned so much more than what we had expected. I don't think we understood just how important God is in marriage. The course broke everything down in great detail so we now have a better understanding of this sacrament we are about to take.
Her: This course strengthened the relationship between us and our relationship with God. I don't think we quite understood the importance of God within a marriage. The course covered so much information that was fairly new to us, but a lot of it moved us with emotion and had a tremendous impact on our relationship. We learned about potential problems within ourselves that can affect our marriage and our marriage with God. We had great leaders during the course that pointed us in the right direction and helped us better understand the new journey that we are on together.
Both: This course improved our communication and got us to talk about some uncomfortable subjects that we might face in marriage. We were able to talk about what we wanted from each other, in the future, and potential problems that we did not want to happen. Each course provided us with the opportunity to discuss our feelings and our marriage. We had time to talk in great detail and learn to be supportive in each other. We learned about the importance of forgiveness in marriage and talked about how we will focus on God in all of the things we do. The love letters were extremely helpful in our relationship and gave us a way to improve our communication. We have decided to implement this in our relationship from now on.
